artists will engage in a creative project that will stimulate their
creativity that in turn will create an improved outlook and sense

The
ability of the arts to improve the quality of life for residents of
nursing homes and other healthcare facilities is widely documented
anecdotally. Survey responses showed that after eight months of
arts activities, participants felt significantly less bored, less
lonely and less helpless.

FAQ: Can seniors paint if they have arthritis and do not have
the hand dexterity?
ANSWER: Most of the motion is done through the movement of the arm
with little hand motion. Remember people with many different types
of disabilities find a way to paint.
